The eight room 200 year old wooden house, once a private residence, has now been tastefully restored, featuring period furniture and antiques. The restoration effort earned the property The Kerala Tourism Heritage Award. The house kitchen specialises in serving Local cuisine and seafood. Cooking classes are held regularly for the guest. The house is run in Ayurveda, completely on resources from the local community. Yoga and Meditation classes are also offered at the center. The beautiful narrow canals of the backwaters offer canoe rides. Daily boat service from Kollam and Alleppey, close to Coconut Palms.
